The Irish Wildlife Trust have a kids magazine, Badger Club, that is a pull-out from their main quarterly magazine. I got to draw an A2-sized poster showing biodiversity of pond life for their Spring issue that was all about frogs and newts. The only special request was that there would be a frog prince in the mix. I love nature and when I was small I learnt the names of all the birds and flowers around me. I used to go on adventures with my dogs down the fields (we lived on a farm in Leitrim) so this was a dream commission for my inner eight year old.
